  Very poor customer service - My first appointment was my last!
  
  I waited one hour before I was called back to be seen. My entire time in the office was 3 hours and 45 minutes. Dr. Lay and nurse/tech seemed nice enough, however the wait times are unreasonable. According to the front office staff, long wait times are common place due to overbooking.
  
  It is difficult to get through on the phone - I called 3 times and was placed on hold for at least 15 minutes before hanging up. I was calling to cancel a follow-up appointment. A young man who answered the phone took my name and the time of my appt and said he would cancel it. I received a phone call the next day to confirm the appointment that was supposed to have been cancelled the previous day.
  
  There were 3 dogs walking around the office. I had no warning that dogs would be in the office (that may be nice to mention to a new patient or to at least post a sign; what if patients have allergies or fear of dogs?).
  
  When a front office person asked if the practice had maps available for a senior patient to locate the office, Dr. Aleck replied "no, but we're on mapquest". The office worker said "I don't think she has access to mapquest" and Dr. Aleck replied "then I guess she's SOL".
